Retail includes the sale of goods but does not include personal services, such as beauty salons. Retail stores identified in the essential workforce list can open for in-store shopping. Libraries should follow the guidance for retailers and the guidance released by the State Library, also listed below. Libraries should see the State Library's COVID-19 website for more information. Find resources for public libraries by the California Library Association and the State Library.
Employers in these industries may be subject to Tier Status re-opening modifications. Please refer to the industry listing on the California COVID-19 Industry Guidance webpage for applicable detailed tier status information.
