HAZARD COMMUNICATION PROGRAM
Employers with employees who are exposed to hazardous substances in the course of their work are required to establish, implement, and maintain a written Hazard Communication Program that complies with title 8 section 5194. Please read the Guide to the Hazard Communication Regulation and then use the sample plan to create your own program.
NOTE: You are not required to use these model programs, but if you do, you must customize them to your own workplace or they will not be effective.

Privacy Notice on Collection of Personal Information: The Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) requires users to register with our Cal/OSHA Training Academy in order for the training platform to operate correctly for the user. To register, users must enter a valid email address that will be collected by DIR. The department may share this information for general law enforcement or research purposes. California’s Information Practices Act (Civil Code Section 1798, et.seq.) governs the departments’ collection and use of individual’s personal information. The department’s privacy policy, including privacy officer contact information, is available at DIR Privacy Policy.

Aviso de privacidad sobre la recopilación de información personal: El Departamento de Relaciones Industriales (DIR, por sus siglas en inglés) requiere que los usuarios se registren en nuestra Academia de Entrenamiento de Cal/OSHA para que la plataforma de entrenamiento funcione correctamente para el usuario.
