Information on COVID-19 and prevention measures for all California workers
IMPORTANT: The COVID-19 online training is currently unavailable to new students as it is being revised to include information about the Cal/OSHA COVID-19 emergency temporary standards that went into effect on January 14, 2022. Changes to Emergency Temporary Standards

Information for workers about COVID-19 and how to prevent its spread at the workplace. COVID-19 is considered a hazard in most workplaces because the disease is widespread in the community. Workers, including employees, volunteers, temporary workers, independent contractors, and any other types of workers, are encouraged to take this course to better understand how COVID-19 spreads, what employers are required to do to protect workers, and what everyone can do to stay safe on the job and prevent the spread of this disease.
Privacy Notice on Collection of Personal Information: The Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) requires users to register with our Cal/OSHA Training Academy in order for the training platform to operate correctly for the user. To register, users must enter a valid email address that will be collected by DIR. The department may share this information for general law enforcement or research purposes. California’s Information Practices Act (Civil Code Section 1798, et.seq.) governs the departments’ collection and use of individual’s personal information. The department’s privacy policy, including privacy officer contact information, is available at DIR Privacy Policy.
